Karen J. Mortensen Karen’s role as President and CEO requires her involvement and oversight in all aspects of Castle Properties' business. She focuses much of her time on strategic planning for the Company’s future but is also involved in the day-to-day operations. Karen’s late husband Bruce Mortensen founded the Company in 1978. Karen took over the leadership role in the Company upon his passing in 1998. Since that time, she has worked to ensure that Castle Properties, Inc. continues to provide the excellent service that it has been known for since 1978. Karen has lived in the Evansville area for nearly 40 years and during that time has established herself as a leader in the local real estate industry. Personally and through a variety of partnerships, Karen has been and continues to be involved in the development and ownership of commercial property in the Southwest Indiana area. Chief Financial Officer Currently the position of Chief Financial Officer of Castle Properties, Inc. is outsourced to an individual CPA firm which provides controllership duties for each property in maintaining timely and accurate financial information, providing economic strategy and forecasting along with overseeing the capital structure of each property. 
Becky Gish Becky Gish keeps our offices at Castle Properties running smoothly as our Office Manager. Along with her Bookkeeping, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties, Becky interacts with our tenants and clients. Becky came to us with 9 years experience working in a financial institution, 9 years in the accounting/bookkeeping field, 7 years experience in supervisory and office management, 2 years experience in purchasing and facilities management and 33 years experience working with the public. When she’s not at Castle, Becky enjoys spending time with her husband Keith, watching movies or kayaking, their pets Cutter and Pepper, and her 5 grandchildren. Marketing The marketing and advertising aspect of our company is currently handled in-house. Castle employees are continually striving to build new client relationships while growing our current customer satisfaction levels with all our clients and tenants. Field Maintenance Coordinator The Field Maintenance Coordinator works for Castle Properties receiving, coordinating, tracking and providing follow-up on all building maintenance work orders. |
